HAESE RETURNS TO TOP 141 MID-AM HEADLINER

       Multi-time track champ Gregg Haese celebrated a happy homecoming by scoring a convincing win in the Vercauteren Memorial 50 lap Mid-American Series feature Saturday night at the 141 Speedway in Francis Creek.  The 1998 MASCS Rookie of the Year picked up his first Vercauteren Memorial win in 1999 at Wisconsin International Raceway. Since that time, Haese has picked up prestigious super late model wins at tracks around the Midwest. His last MASCS race was April 13, 2008 in the Spring Classic at Rockford Speedway.  

        A second engraving of Haese’s name on the Harold and Regina Vercauteren traveling trophy allowed him to reflect upon his first Vercauteren Memorial win. “That was a real special moment,” said Haese. “It was one of my first big wins in Mid-American before I went on to racing super late models.”

 Fuller leads wire to wire to win Pa Murray Memorial 50

 Cato's Jesse Fuller led from the drop of the green, and wound up victorious in a photo finish in the Pa Murray Memorial 50 lap Mid American Sportsman feature at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek Saturday.
